Well, it's been a while since my last update. I'm home, back at work, married, and currently in a lot of pain. I tore a ligament in my wrist some time ago, and just had surgery to repair it last Thursday. Ouch. I've actually been blown up before, and it hurt less than this.

It was 120 today. Walking outside sucked. If you want to know what Iraq is like in mid-June, just take a blow-dryer, turn it on high, and cook your face for ten minutes. That's probably close, but a little cooler.

Oh, and for some reason, we got two goats. ::shrug::

Well. Memorial Day here was... lame. There is no stop to missions, so we just had a (decent) barbeque in the chow hall, and a big cake, which said "Remember those who served our country.". Somehow the impact was lessened for us.
