Forty. Forty. Wow.
Things kind of suck right now (for me and for most of my friends), but I can't help but feeling that a ball has to get all the way down before it bounces. Or some other terrible metaphor. Anyway, I feel good things on the horizon. They just haven't quite arrived.
"I would like you to dance, take a cha-cha-cha-chance."
"I'm feeling thankful for the small things today."
"Loved and lost, and some may say, when usually it's nothing, surely you're happy it should be this way."
"You know it doesn't make much sense. There ought to be a law against anyone who takes offense at a day in your celebration."
"She has one friend, he lives next door. They're listening to the weather. He knows how many freckles she's got. She scratches his beard."
