The theme of this week is :How did you pick your SG username?
My current sg hopeful nickname comes from one of my personal passions: astronomy and astrophysics.
Hubble comes from the famous space telescope so called in honour of Edwin Hubble who played a crucial role in extragalactic astronomy and in the cosmologic observation.
Here's a picture of Mr Hubble in 1930.
He remains one of the most important astronomers of all time. He also descovered that many objects previously thought to be clouds of dust and gas classified as "nebulae" were galaxis beyond the Milky Way.

Hubble is known also for another thing, a property remembered as Hubble's law: he provided evidence that recessional velocity(the rate at which an astronomical object is moving away from the Earth) of a galaxy increases with its distance from the Earth.
Since I was a child I was fascinated by looking the brightness of nocturnal sky. I was lost in that beautiful vision. Thinking about the space, its planets,its stars makes me feel a little part of it.We are made of cosmic material, we are made of stars.
