I just gave my cats their first baths. Thankfully, it went much better than I had anticipated, though I did end up with just about as much water on me as I did on them. I wish I had a camera. I would love to have gotten a picture of them all sopping wet. They were so cute. (I'm sure they would disagree.) When I finished with the first one, I shut him up in the bathroom because it is the warmest room in the apartment (no drafts) while I did the other. Then I shut them both in there to dry. To my surprise, they sat there completely content for over an hour. When I went to check to see if they were dry, they just looked at me. They smell all nice and fresh now. (They were smelling kind of foul before.) Their coats are all soft and poofy too. Yay for clean kitties!

That's cool that they were completely docile during the process. It's really odd to think that most other animals don't sweat like we do. That's why they're not taking baths every day.
But, I do think it'd be cool to be flexible enough to even begin to groom one's self with one's tongue. I mean.. isn't that the dream of any guy?
