I just finished my first overnight shift at work. I am so confused now. I don't really know what day or time it is. Monday morning, I woke up at 5:30AM so I could be at work at 6:30AM. I worked until 3:30PM, came home, slept from about 5-8:30 and went back to work at 10PM. I left work at 8:45 this morning. When I woke up at 8:30 last night, I thought it was Monday morning again because when I get up on Mondays, it's still dark out. (Every other day, I go to work later and it's already light when I get up.) Now, it feels like it must be night time because I just got out of work. I keep looking outside and getting confused when I see that it's light out. I will probably be even more confused when I wake up later. Hopefully I won't screw up and go there or wake up freaking out that I'm late. I don't think I want to do this overnight thing again. It's not good for me. Luckily, I have that option. The person who should have been doing it went on vacation and I was nice enough to agree to switch the shift for my regular shift today. I didn't have to do it though which means I never have to do it again.
I don't have anything else interesting to say. (I don't think I've really said anything interesting yet. I don't really care right now though.)
I have a feeling I may read this later and discover I sound like a total moron. Oh well.
Be nice and leave me a pretty or funny picture so I have something nice to wake up to, please.

i've tried the night shift thing too with similar results. also, it interferes with my normal beer-drinking time. so no more of that for me.
