Friday I went up to Lancaster with DodRaibeid to visit Mle for her birthday. We had a good time. Mle and I dressed DodRabeid and Piercedspork up as girls, she and I wore our costumes, and we all went out to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. Then we came back to their apartment and played interactive Clue. It was fun. DodRaibeid and I were supposed to spend the night but we couldn't sleep so we ended up driving home really late. He had to drive my car through extremely thick fog while I was half-asleep and thinking about all the scary monsters that were going to come get us. It was pretty creepy.

Last night I took the kids at work Trick-or-Treating. I didn't expect to have a ood time but it ended up being a blast. We spent the whole day finishing up costumes. Then we out to get candy. The kids had a great time and were really well-behaved. There was one house (block) that had all these people dressed up in costumes with chainsaws. They would chase you to scare you. Michael Myers wouldn't stop chasing us. We kept telling him to leave us alone but he just kept following us. One of the kids got up in his face and was like, "Hey, you fake-me-out Michael Myers! Your supposed to have a knife, not a chain saw! You don't scare me. Go away!" She was my hero. I gave her a big hug and told her she rocked. It was hilarious. Then Michael Myers started chasing one of the girls and imitating the way she was running in her very high heeled boots, doing the whole girly run thing. Things calmed down after that. It was a fun night. The kids even shared their candy!
