One of the kids at the shelter has a theory that the world is about to come to an end because Mt. St. Helens erupted, California had an earthquake, and the East Coast had a huge hurricane all in the same week. She's been going to this Bible Study thing in her old neighborhood for the last few weeks and comes back talking about Hell and damnation and now the end of the world.
