I have now have a functioning computer in my own apartment! I moved in on June 6th. My bed was finally delivered, but instead of it being between the hours of 12 and 4pm like I was told it would be, it showed up at 7:30pm. I was pissed off. I called the bed place around 6 (for the second time) and got really pissy with the woman on the phone. They credited my card the delivery charge. That was good, but my brother and friend still had to go pick up my couch and loveseat for me while I sat and waited for the couch. I thought I was going to miss getting the couches for a second day. I did finally get mostly settled in. I still have some unpacking to do and some things to buy like an entertainment center; my TV is sitting on the floor and has almost gotten kicked a few times. I also have some furniture friends are giving me that I cant seem to pick up. I dont have a dresser so all the clothes that should be in it are in a huge trash bag. Not fun!
I learned something very interesting the weekend I moved. XWellThenX is quite possibly the most patient man on the planet. His ego may also be impossible to trample. Im pretty sure I was legally insane by June 8th. I was asking him to do random, senseless things or agreeing when he asked if I wanted things done, and then asking why he had done those things I had told him to do. I was also was a raging bitch. At times, I think I may have been flat out mean to him. I cannot believe we didnt have a fight. He just let everything roll off his back. When I apologized, he said, Sweetie, you are moving and are stressed. I expected this. Dont worry about it.
XWellThenX is fucking amazing! (Alternately, he may be a really good actor and a total asshole. I think Im finally believing that that isnt the case, but I didnt think anyone could put up with someone the way I was acting and stay calm!)
Alrighty, on to two nights of gorgeous women, awful bands, and new people! I went to both nights of the Philly SGB! It kicked so much ass! This show was definitely better than the last one in my opinion. I enjoyed the prior one, but I think this one has more SGs who dance really well, which brought something to it. This time I am also more familiar with the SGs so theres that excitement factor. My favorite SG being on the tour didnt hurt things either.
Nixon!!!!! Mle introduced me to Nixon which was really cool. I talked to her a little bit. Unfortunately, my friends saw fit to thoroughly embarrass me both nights. The first night, when I was introduced to Nixon, Chrisalis said, Hrlys your biggest fan! 
That was a only little embarrassing. I wasnt thrilled about it, but whatever. The second night, someone else actually went up to her, and pulled her over to talk to me. I was like, thanks, guys. Thanks a bunch. I feel like a totally goofy moron now. The ironic thing is Ive never even talked about her that much prior to Thursday. Shes been my favorite SG, but its not like I gush about her. My friends made it out to be a much bigger thing than it needed to be. 
I didnt mean to get off on a negative tangent. I did have a great time at both shows. The bands were kind of shitty, but fun to laugh at. I met some other members, which was very cool. I also watched Mle sign autographs. I got such a kick out of that! I am very much looking forward to the next show!
I could have sworn other interesting things have happened to me in the two weeks that I have been a sucky member and not updated my journal, but I cant think of anything else. I may come back and make this entry longer later.

I thought of more to write...Quantum Leap came out on DVD on June 8th. That rocks my world. QL has been my favorite show since I was 9 years old. I didn't watch it the first season so I never got to see that intro. It's absolutely hilarious. There are neon pink and green lights and crap all over it. It is so 80s! Hehe. Fun stuff.
I have also apparently developed a strange eye twitch. My right eye keeps bugging out. I do not like it one bit. Hopefully once I am settled in my apartment and work calms down, it will go away. Work has been kind of hectic lately. We have a full house. Our limit is ten kids and that's where we are. The place is crazy. I also have a meeting at 9am Monday morning with the top guy. Not the person in charge of the shelter but the person in charge of the whole agency. I don't know what it's about. I just got a message from my direct boss saying, "I wanted to let you know you have a meeting with Joe on Monday morning at 9. Don't worry, nothing bad." Monday happens to be my day off so I'm really glad I didn't have any plans! I wasn't given a choice about the time.
Wow, I just realized it is 3:30 and I have yet to eat today. That's no good. Time for food.
