First of all, I want to congratulate my gorgeous friend, Mle, whose set went up today. She looks amazing in it (not that she doesn't always!) Congratulations to Chrisalis also. She shot the set and did a stupendous job! This is the first public display of her work. Yay for both of them!!!

Now I want to tell you about the exceptionally surreal experience I had tonight. I was sitting at a stop light, waiting to pull out of a parking lot. All of a sudden, a flatbed truck drove by carrying four huge statue-type bees with giant smilie faces. They looked like they were either meant for an amusement park ride or a parade float. I thought that was pretty strange. A few seconds later, a second flatbed truck follwed, this one carrying four gigantic bears. Now I was thinking this was really weird. Suddenly it occured to me that I had just seen four monsterous amusment park bears chasing four monsterous amusment park bees. It was so fucking surreal! I immediately picked up the phone and called XWellThenX who was sitting in the car behind me to ask him what he thought of the strange occurance, but he swore up and down that he hadn't seen them. He wanted to know if I had really only had one drink. I think I ranted about the bees and bears for the next ten minutes before I just gave up and accepted that he really hadn't seen them. If you check out his journal, he already has an entry making fun of me for it. It was so damn surreal!
