Where did April Fools Day come from? Why is April 1 the one day out of the year when you are supposed to play jokes on people? Did some king somewhere wake up one day and decide that? I am very curious. I could probably find the answer by doing a quick web search, but I am very tired and not in the mood to go hunting. 
I managed to survive the day without any major tricks being played on me. The only person that even tried anything was Shadowmancer. His joke was, in fact, fairly amusing, and he did have me going for a minute. On the whole, I hate pranks. April Fools Day is my least favorite day of the year. I do not tend to laugh when people play jokes on me. Instead I get very angry. Ive been told many a time that I have no sense of humor. For instance, I only find Strong Bad mildly entertaining. My friend, Lee, adores him. Lee says I have no sense of humor. I dont think my dad is funny at all so he agrees. (Other people laugh at his jokes, but they dont have to live with the man and hear the jokes day-in and day-out.) The biggest proponent of my lack of a funny bone was my ex. He didnt take anything seriously so I grew to find little he said funny.
Ironically, I actually laugh all the time. Im just not a big fan of laughter at the expense of others (especially me.) I dont like shows like Punkd; I just end up feeling bad for the people. I spent a lot of time laughing earlier this week when I spent time with xwellthenx. Now hes a funny guy! We hung out Sunday-Tuesday and I had a great time. We laughed and talked a lot. He is so easy to talk to. Ive got to say, I am completely smitten! Hee hee! Okay, Im done with this section of my journal now. *sigh*
Actually, I think Im finished with this entry. Im going to read the boards for a bit and then go to bed. Bye bye.
