I went up to Lancaster with Mle today to do some outlet shopping and to meet Piercedspork. He was very nice. I think Mle thought so too. (Check out her journal.) The three of us saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It was a fairly strange movie but also very good. I got home and read that it was written by the same guy who did Being John Malkovich and that made so much sense!
The last few days at work have been really rough. I cant talk too much about them due to privacy/confidentiality laws, but suffice to say that yesterday my boss thanked me for not turning in my resignation. I did have a fun little conversation two days ago with a young girl and another staff member. We were saying something about nuns and the girl bursts out with, My sister was going to be a nun, but she lost her virginity last year. The girl said this very matter-of-factly in a voice as sweet as sugar. The person I was working with and I just tried to hold in our laughter while the girl stared at us wondering what was funny. One of us said something about her sister still being able to be a nun because she could repent. The girl came back with, Oh no, she cant repent; she said it was the best time of her life! At that, the other staff member and I just lost it and laughed hysterically. I had tears rolling down my face. The poor girl had no clue what she had said. That may well have been the funniest thing I have ever heard in my whole life. It wasnt so much what she said but the words coming out in her sweet, innocent voice.
I have today and tomorrow off from work. Since today I went hung out with Mle, tomorrow has to be a responsible day. I have so many things to get done. I have bills to pay, cleaning to do, appointments to makeugh. You know, being an adult kind of sucks! Oh wellit had to happen some time.

Um, it's odd that you say I have great taste in movies. I rarely watch any, and almost never go to the cinema. I just have this gut instinct when I think a movie will suck and I don't waste my time watching them. But the ones I love I can see over and over again a hundred times and never get bored.
