I spent most of the day lost in my head. I accomplished just about nothing. Actually, I did do a lot of thinking, which could be considered getting something donedepends on how you look at it. I have a tendency to start pondering some random thing and half an hour later realize Ive been staring at the same spot on the wall. Alternately, ten minutes later someone may get my attention and ask where I went. Sometimes thats really bad, like when I have a shitload of studying to do finals week, but other times its nice like when Im waiting to meet someone at a diner and Ive forgotten a book. At the present, since Ive finished school and havent found a job, daydreaming isnt a huge issue.
One fun thing I did do today was find a picture that might work for my first tattoo. Ive known I wanted something relating to water, but I havent been able to find a picture that jumps out at me, and I didnt really know what direction I wanted to go in so I couldnt ask someone to design something for me. I was looking at Amy Brown stuff today, and I found a gorgeous picture of mermaids in the moonlight. Ill post it. Im just thinking about getting the mermaid in the front leaning on the rock. Of course, Ill probably now think about this for the next year or two.
When I was 14 I decided I wanted to get a tattoo of a snake on my ankle. I figured that if I still wanted it when I was 18, then it would be ok for me to go ahead and do it. In those 4 years, I went back and forth between wanting and not wanting it so many times that I decided Id better hold off. I am so glad I did because I dont even like snakes anymore! Im a little wary of permanently inking something on my skin now. Im pretty sure a water symbol should be safe though. I have always been all about the water. The most relaxing thing for me is the sound of rain, and the best de-stressor for me is to sit on the bottom of the bathtub with the shower on, just letting the water run over my head. Its kind of like a recharge. If I could have any superpower, I would want to be able to breath underwater. A few years ago, some friends of mine dubbed me the water nymph.
Well, thats enough rambling from me.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Actually, I'm gonna cheat and say omnipotence. Great power, that.
Failing that, just control over time would be nice. You know, speed up, slow down, back up, that stuff.
