I just finished reading the Princess Bride. I am very disappointed. The movie has been a favorite of mine for years, but I never got around to reading the book. Finally I did, and I kind of wish I hadnt. Its odd to say this since the book and the screenplay were written by the same person, but he knew what he was doing when he cut stuff for the movie. There is an awful lot of crap in there that I could have done without. It is also just plain bizarreand not in a good way. Has anyone else read it?
Time for a new book. I have a huge list of books I want to read so now I need to pick a new one. Im also always looking for new stuff to read if anyone has suggestions.
Things to do this week:
1. Get my car serviced. It doesnt sound very good. Luckily, I have an appointment tomorrow.
2. Send out more resumes so maybe Ill actually find a real job. In case anyone doesnt know, being a psychology major doesnt do anything for you without further schooling.
3. Do laundry, vacuum, and do other assorted cleaning type activities.
4. Finish picking my 5 favorite Suicide Girls. I cant list any until I pick all 5.
