It is official. I am completely moved out of my old apartment and no longer have the key. The move was so insanely stressful and cleaning the damn place up afterwards sucked! On top of that, I decided that I could no longer keep my cats. They had been giving me a lot of trouble by fighting with each other in the middle of the night and waking me up. They were making a mess of the place that I just couldn't/wasn't keeping up with. Plus, I felt guilty because they are extremely loving and need a lot of attention that I was not providing them with. It seemed like the right thing to do would be to find them a new home. In the end, I returned them to the Delaware Humane Association, which is where I got them. It's a cool place. They treat the animals really well and do their best to find all of the animals great homes. They never euthanize. I kind of freaked out the day after I dropped the cats off, thinking I had made a mistake, but now I think I did the right thing. Now that I am completely out of the old apartment, it kind of feels like I am moving on to a new phase of my life. It feels good.
Totally unrelated, does anyone watch Veronica Mars? I've been watching it on DVD and I'm half way through the 1st season. I've gotten completely sucked in. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
