So there's a boy I like, a lot. I don't know how to explain to you all how close he's gotten and how our relationship has progressed. Honestly he knows damn near every important fact of my pass. I can't hide shit from him, at all. He understands the subtleties of my behavior. In short I love him, very much so. He and I are now left asking each other and ourselves if it is worth pursuing a real relationship. The difficult thing of it all is that he lives in LA. I would be glad to never have to live in most of CA (Santa Cruz being the exception). He has recent history of letting someone in and being burned, bad, like scorched really. Neither of us have been in a real relationship which doesn't help.

I am one of those people who always think the best can happen. I'm also one of those helpless romantics who'll pursue love, recklessly sometimes. The thing is with this boy is that we're so close we would hate to lose that friendship if things didn't work our, ya know.

So what do you think? Can it work?
