I just had to update today, because one of my most favorite girls has a new set today. Check out Waikiki if you want to see all this and much more. I think she personifies Springtime like no one else.
Thanks to all who've commented on the continuing saga of my multi-colored leg. After talking with my doctor today, the prognosis is good. I'm to keep it elevated whenever possible, and come back for another ultrasound exam in 3 weeks. So, I'm pretty happy about that. I feel like chasing SGs. Any volunteers?
By the way, the leg looks pretty normal now, and although I can still feel that there's something inside the muscle that shouldn't be there (a cyst) it doesn't hurt or bother me at all. And there is still no explanation of where it came from or why. At the last ultrasound, the tech said "Ummm, I should go get the doctor and let him see this!" And then a doctor came in who had never met me, but when he looked at my chart he said "Ah, so THAT's the leg everyone's been discussing for the past few weeks. Mind if I take a look?" I'm beginning to think I should charge admission.
Not much social news since I'm officially still supposed to be taking it easy. But I have been making up for lost time by attending the last few symphony concerts of the year. On Thursday they finally let the brand new multimillion $$ organ rip - and what a glorious noise it made! I just love watching a great orchestra struggle like mad to keep up with the sheer sonic volume of the organ. The audience was not disappointed.
Finally, I just finished reading Monty Python and Philosophy which is surprsingly entertaining AND informative to those with more knowledge of one topic than the other (I learned some philiosophy). Next up - the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, which I'm reading because Katrina recommended it.

I'm not giving up modeling entirely, but I think I'm probably going to be pretty exclusive to this site from now on. ANd thanks for the tip; I'll have to put that book on my wishlist!
