Ok, can you help me out here? I've been thinking about a few things lately, and I'd love to gather some not-very-scientific polling results by asking a random sample of SG members their opinions, feelings, thoughts, comments, etc.

1. a very good friend of mine has a big problem telling guys she's not interested in them. she finds it easier to go to dinner with someone she cares nothing about, rather than to possibly hurt them by being honest. to me that's just leading them on and setting them up for a bigger fall eventually. i'd much rather be told to fuck off up front (and i'm fairly used to it by now too). So, is this a fairly common trait for women, or is she unusual?

2. am i the weird one - preferring honesty? [i know i'm the weird one in other ways, so try and stick to the topic!]

Ok, time for me to confess. I read the journals of all the wonderfully insightful, creative, intelligent, crazy and hot girls on my friends list. I'm totally addicted. And proud of it. So thanks.
