so they cleaned him up and asked if i was going to cut the umbilical cord which i gladly did i was initialy a lil concerned about the queasyness they asked f i was going to be ok and i said yes which i was it wasnt as scary as i though it would be i took some more photos to show the wife i was so worked up when i returned to show her i was crying full on now as i showed her the pictures us both crying they finished cleaning him up and swaddled him making him extra comfortable and quiet and then handed him to me to hold for the first time to show mother for the first time she cried even harder as i showed her her new baby boy we were given a few minutes together before they said "come on father" i put him in this rolling crib and we were off to the nursery for the final cleanup it was eally dificult to leave her there lying on the table being operaed on still while i had to go with the baby we went to the nursery where they cleaned him some more with soap and water measured him and repeatedly said how he was "grunting" which apparently mean he may still have amniotic fluid in his lungs they hooked him up to a monitor and we waited for a bit my mom and her mom were there at this point waiting in the wiating room not aware that we were in there so i tried calling them to let them know we could be viewed throuh the glass well my mom finally thought to look and she saw her first grandson iw as unable to talk to them through the glass but technology steped in and i called her on her cell phone and talked to her letting her know th weight and height of the baby and letting her mom know that not only was the baby fine but she was going to be fine as well. luckily for me the sinks in the nursery were stopped up so they quickly did what they had to do and rushed us to our room or else it old have been a lil while in the nursery the family was able to see him and her mother asked to hold him or touch him i politely had to tell her no as his mother had yet to hold or touch him i just thought it better that she do that first before the rest of her family had thier hands on him and i know she appreciated it we had a long night of nurses and doctors comming in and out of the room......to be cont
