Hooookay.
I'm injured, but not nearly as bad as FallenIcarus She's like... super brave and daring.
Anyway, I cut my finger open at my first job, got numberous little tiny paper cuts on my hands, and then proceeded to cut the little web-thingy that connects one's thumb to one's index finger on a table at my second job.
I worked my ass off, and people appreciated it, so I felt good. The good-feelingness, however, was not strong enough to overcome the astounding level of exhaustion that pervaded my being in the late afternoon. So, it was good to take a break and learn from this really cool drafter guy about how you engineer stormwater and sewer lines in a housing development.
Has anyone noticed little 1" brass discs in the sidewalk ever? Those apparently are reference points from which engineers and city planners can pull up the elevation of that particular point. They're on file somewhere, I guess. But yeah. If you design a housing development or even just a house, all the elevations are traced back to one of those little discs.
I'm learning whole bunches of stuff. It's Friday soon, so that oughtta be pretty freaking awesome.
I need a dremel. I'm also working (possibly) on Saturday and (definitely) on Sunday. I'm a tool. (see how that thought process worked?)
