I had a Venice and Hotpockets day. (Un)fortunately, it was fairly well structured. We had errands to run, and a plan, and dinner was provided by her dad--grease with chicken and awkward potatoes . No, it was really good actually. The peas and onions were actually pretty tasty and I usually don't care for peas. Definitely a good meal, to say the least. And the chocolate cake, damn. There's one good thing about not using wheat for anything...it leaves more room for chocolate and butter.
We mainly just walked around NW Portland, but with purposes. We stopped into Powell's and I ogled at some expensive architecture books. I really need to start acquiring supplies and resources.
It was good to just talk about stuff. I felt totally comfortable with the evening. Fortunately, I was looking forward to this for only one day, rather than her week-plus long wait for this weekend.
Work was infinitely better than yesterday--Monday morning sucked, everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. As my boss put it: "Fuck, I woke up! It's been a long day!" I stuck a pallet into another pallet, causing a whole domino effect of 100+ lb rolls of material. I lost a half-ton pallet of foam rubber. I mistook the copy machine to be the fax machine. To which, one of the office guys asked: "Oh, did you dial the right number?"
As decided tonight, Tuesdays are nothing. They are such a worthless day. Nothing happens on them. Monday is the start of the week, Friday is the end of the week, Thursday is the day before Friday, and Wednesdays are busy...
Question of the Day
What do you think of replying to an entry, or another reply, before reading all of the previous replies?

rephrased:
I reply to entires before reading replies. I do it a lot. On journals, though, not on boards or groups. *shrug*
