Woohoo! Operation: Get-the-air-conditioning-working-in-my-Corolla was a complete success. The summary of the operation goal was to, well, get the air conditioning working in my Corolla.
It's funny, I put it on for like two minutes, and then turned it off and just had the fan blowing. But it's good to know that I can.
I went to a play party up in Washington yesterday. It was a lot of fun, a lot of old friends. I haven't been to that party since winter break, so it was good to see everyone. I got a lot of "Hey, don't wait six months to come back this time, huh?" I didn't play at all, but I did try out foot suspension. The setup was intriguing. It felt really good on my back, and it was awesome to look 'up' and stretch my arms and try and touch the floor. My stomach wasn't feeling very well when I was up there, but upon further reflection and discussion, it might've been the food I ate, so next time, I'll stay away from the chicken.
One person brought all of his whips, from 4-foot single tails to the huge 8ft - 10ft bullwhips, not including the 2ft falls. Insane. Anyway, he let me have a go, and I learned the basics of making a whip crack. It's hard, and watching him do it was really awesome, it's definitely a skill!
