Well.
I woke up on time; did everything I was supposed to do. I washed my pants, and surfed the internet pantsless while they were in the laundry.
I get downtown two hours early because I have to get another polo shirt because the only one I have is orange and not really interview-material. I got a nice navy blue one. When I was in the changing room, I realized that my khakis were 1) wrinkled, and 2) not really interview-worthy either. I went and got some more khakis then. These are nice. They are just flat-fronts (pleats are the devil). I like them. It makes me feel like I belong (to what, I do not know). I had lunch and paid way too much for a sandwich and soda--oh well. I walked over and went up to the company, but the interview lady was late, so I just sat around and read the paper and then got bored, so one of the employees asked if I'd like to see what goes on there.
She came in and we sat down, and she asked all the regular interview questions. I didn't really know the forumla, but hopefully I answered them well enough. I also explained why toast always falls down buttered- or jam-side down.
Then I watched one of the guys do some visualization stuff--it was just really cool. I am really excited. The only thing I forgot to do is ask how much they pay, because that would've been really good to ask--d'oh. Hopefully they don't shaft me on that if I get the job.
It seems fun.
Then I sat in traffic for an hour.
And here I am, in my 'work clothes'

Well, it's 8-something and I'm still in town. I don't know that I'll be going anywhere, but if I don't, I've got the next 4 days off. Hopefully I can find a way to occupy my time.
Thanks for the hugs
