I know, I don't update enough...
Tisk tisk,
I've actually been having some problems logging in from time to time, or so it seems. I tried to get on yesterday, but with no luck
Anywho, I'm looking forward to this party tomorrow here in Madison. My roomie is supposed to drive us, but he has to leave work early to do so-so wish us luck But if all goes well, we'll see ya there. I'm also trying to convince another friend of mine to go, but she's even more shy than I am, so well see...
Other than that, not much going on. I WAS going to see 'The Village' tomorrow, with tha day off and all, but-now I'm supposed to wait until Sunday to see it with some friends-and dinner after. So I was thinking of going to 'Napoleon Dynamite' instead (thanks Synnove for the reminder),but it only plays at like 4:30 or some shit, on the West side of town, which is a major pain in the ass. I dislike going all the way to the west side, especially at that time...egads, we'll see what happensa there.
I finally got my book. It seems the site had problems with orders the day I ordered it, which I guess I already mentioned anyway-so rather than beating a dead horse, I'll drop it. But the book kicks major ass. I ordered another shirt, but, by the same token of bad luck with my order-I got a girl's tank top by mistake I guess I have another shirt anyway-but what the hell am I going to do with a girl's tank top? Ok, I tried it on, because I am a skinny little bitch, but it was still to tight
And what's this? Suicidegirls on WSUM tonight? Kick ass! It seems my luck is finally turning for the better.
My third roommate, announced that he is leving for the Marines in less than two weeks-and will be gone for 4 years. 4 years man, that's a long time. So, I guess it looks like once he leaves-I may have a party myself in good ol' Sun Prairie-though, the town sucks...Cornfest is coming up though, uh....
Cornfest is a cheesey thing our town does, but the turnout is huge. I guess if you like corn and beer, it's all good-bu tthat combo, come on...the human body can't even digest corn, and mix that with beer, my goodness. One of my friends said he saw the 'Cornfest' on the food network, and that people from all over the world come to it...well, that's news to me.
Also, thanks to a suggestion, I checked into having some sketches turned into posters. I like the idea a lot, so many of my scribble sketches will be converted to poster size. I'll let you know of the progress, and if or when they can be purchased. I don't think it was that expensive either, like 8 or 9 bucks a peice. If there is any one sketch you like in poster form, let me know-otherwise, I was just going to choose my favorite ones. I'm biased though, green is my favorite color, so a lot of my favs are the green ones.
And could I ramble on anymore? I think so...
I was talking to a coworker the other day, about a near death experience I had when I was a kid. My nextdoor neighbor and bud when I was eight, made a gocart out of plywood. Nothing fancy, no motor or anything, just a box with a slanted front end, and some wheels, with rope as a steering wheel. Well, we wheeled the damn thing up to the top of our neighborhood hill(which was quite steep), and he proceeded in going down it with great success. But upon my turn, and halfway down the hill, the rope broke, meaning I had no steering. I started to veer off to the left, and into a neighbors yard. This same neighbor had one of these 'rough cut' timber fences around the yard. By rough cut, I mean, 'hacked' lumber, so one edge is sharp, and at an angle. Well, this is what this damned go cart was steering towards when I lost control. Needless to say, this fence is what I hit, and, by sheer luck-the car stopped (got wedged in underneath the bottom edge) of the bottom of the fence, approximately one inch from the top of the go-carts front end-or, about one foot from my head and decapitation.
I don't know, it's easier to explain with pictures, but I'm far to lazy this morning to draw them, and scan them in.
Anywho, I'm outta here for a while...
