Yellow again,
I suppose I should update, as it's been a couple of weeks now. I assure you, unlike my last journal entry, I'm completely sober, and not under the influenece of Southern Comfort.
By saying that, you'll probabaly be bored half to death at this journal entry....
My old roommate Joseph(also the owenr of the duplex BlueBear3 and I own) stopped by this past week.. He's on leave from the marines-which was a surprise for all of us, seeing that he was over in Iraq.
It was great to se him again, he's like a brother to me-and has been like that since we started talking. He and I are completely different mind you, different backgrounds and such-but we're msart enough, ans respetful enough to be open minded enough to share our knowledge with one another.
So it was a good visit, I belive he's supposed to be coming over tonight after work-before he ships out again tomorrow morning.
We went out last Thursday, and I drank to much-as did everyone we went out with. So, a few people ended up staying at the house that night-which is fine, I'd rather have that than a bunch of drunk people trying to drive home.
I opted not to go out drinking with him and his borthers on Friday night, I just chose to stay at home and spend a quiet Friday evening relaxing...of course, 2am rolls around, and about 10 more orwdy drunk friends of Joe's come over-royally pissing me off , so I went straight to bed...They of course, caught on to my anger and left.
Then Joe came over on Saturday to apologize for the night previous, and show me his new guitar that he had purchased. I didn't even know they could bring stuff like that over to Iraq with them, but apparently they can. He doesn't know how to play, but he's learning now and he seemed very happy to be learning.
Then, Sunday Joe came over again, and we went out to dinner. Both of us got a steak sandwich and fries-of which, was not filling enough for me, so I end up getting cheese curds on top of that to fulfil my unusually high appetite. Boy that's an exciting story eh?
Then he left, I wrote a couple of letters, and watched 'Broken Flowers' with Bill Murray-which I liked quite abit-I guess I'm a big fan of Bill Murray to, so it was good to actually see him in a full length movie again.
And that's that. Not the most exciting weekend in the world, but nice nonetheless. I left quite abit out-like my ever so exciting trip to the mall, and dropping off some pictures for Erin's mom-but really, they lack detail.
I will tell you, I bought a few 'Nightmare Before Christmas' toys and such-and, the same day, my 'Corpse Bride' dollls came in the mail-the 17" ones-totally KICK ASS. The detail is phenominal, and I love them so. They were sitting in a box on our back porch, and had I not chose to clean the house the day and take out some trash, I may not have found them. The mailman does that a lot, leaves packages without any indication of it, on our back porch, which really-we rarely step out into-wow-exciting huh?
My mood is kind of 'blah' today. I don't want to go back to wok, but I guess I will anyway...
And in the spirit of posting a pic in my journal, as I've done the past few times, here ya go, an old sculpt from last year...
