murder by death- its like waking up next to cursive the next morning with a whiskey hangover

murder city devils- the last show they ever played. if you missed them before they disbanded, this disk is a treat. it shows off their garage band swagger and reeks of preshow over-celebrating. but they still went out and kicked the crowds' ass.

the horrorpops- refinded rock/psychobilly discovered, signed, sealed and delivered from mister tim armstrong himself. bonus- the lead singer also plays a mean upright bass. and croons throughout the whole disk. she is also my vote for "most likely to be the next suicidegirl". (note to missy. drop this girl a line at their website! find em at the hellcat records website) the entire album has not one throwaway song. grabs you by the pompadour from beginning to end. throw on your creepers and hit the dance floor.
