so's I asked this little old japanese lady in town. .
"what's the deal with the buddhist church in town?"
and she says
" it's closed, because there arent' very many japanese ( buddhists) in town"
and that they "only meet once a month"
so i asked her , "when do they meet?"
and she says " i don't know, i don't go"
so, i'm perdy chapped about it because my whole interest in this started when i bought a $7.00 ticket for the obon (japanese) festival , sponsored by the buddhist church here. . (which advertised sushi and such. . but only had some egg and vegetable wraps
)
. . basically the church doesn't even exist and all i got out of this experience was a decent teriyaki(?) chicken meal, and the plant i bought for my mom there. .
i guess you could call it karma

unravled:
A decent japanese meal for seven bucks sounds like a a pretty good deal to me.
