took the kid to see the foo fighters-weezer show this weekend. weezer was perdy cool, but dave grohl's in between songs shtick comes off like some cheesy game show host. kinda disappointing. hoh hot heat was basically background noise. the kid had fun though, so that's all that counts.
i think one of the funnest show's i ever went to was this one.

we showed up late so we had to pay the $4 for 10 bands. . bummer
once the high school staff realized the punk-rockers boots were scuffing up the basketball court floor, they made everybody take off their shoes. . a couple hundred punk-rockers slamming in their socks! a very hilarious sight!
