I cant stop thinking about the situation in Louisiana. All those poor, poor people. As if having everything swept from under them wasnt enough. Now they have to deal with a lack of drinking water and being is a cesspool of sewage and filth. 
There is constant talk of the rising gas prices among everyone here at work. This has an enormous effect on the transportation industry. With our venders not willing to raise our fuel surcharge, and the fuel being so expensive, there is no profit in trucking. We are shutting down the trucks until either the fuel price goes down or AAFES raises the surcharge. A few of the guys were in Atlanta yesterday and they said every station was out of fuel, and the few that did have fuel had a 50 gallon limit on diesel.
Anyway, here is a site if anyone is curious about donating to help those people out. I'm getting ready to donate to one that helps rescue the animals out there.
