My F-ing left side wisdom tooth is growing in and it hurts like hell. Its been growing in for about a year now, it will hurt for a few days then there will be no pain for a month or two. Mike says its been doing this for so long because there isnt enough room for it to grow in.
Ow. There is one little pointy part of the tooth sticking out
I suppose I should make a dentist appointment to get it pulled out, but Im afraid.
Then again it probably couldnt hurt more then a tattoo or piercing.And I heard they drug you up pretty well..umm drugs..hehe....
On a side note:
I want some mother fluffin sushi right now.*
* I used to think people only ate sushi because it was a trendy thing to do or whatnot, but when I tried it for the first time I became obsessed..Its yummmmmmmyyyyyyy.

Yeah. I honestly like the way mine look, too. And I'm working on a tattoo design the same way you described. There's one I've had in mind for a couple of years now, and I still want it, so I'm going to do it soon. The other design I'm still fine-tuning. You're right about people adorning themselves in various ways throughout history, too. That's what I was trying to get at with my mother...piercings and tattoos both have extremely long histories in human cultures, and have occurred spontaneously in many widely divergent cultures. Obviously there is something about body modification which appeals to the human psyche.
Yes! My definition of art is "Art is what disturbs." That's so much like yours! I don't necessarily mean "disturbs" in a bad way, either. Just something that shakes you up a bit, ya know?
As for religion...I don't even know what I think religion is. "The opiate of the masses?" A crutch? A deep-seated need in the human mind? A quirk of genetics?
