I frakkin' love this show. Don't ask me why, because there's not a whole lot to love. Its confusing, hard to follow, non-linear storytelling is just the kind of obtuse, self-absorbed bullshit I've come to expect from David Milch...but fuck me if I can't stop watching.

The show seems to have a nice little formula. One episode is so fucking good you think you're watching the apex of television supremacy, and the next episode is so fucking bad you'd think that monkeys on opium in a fucking cage were writing it. The good ep's make up for the bad, because as bad as the shitty ep's are, the good episodes are frakkin' phenomonal.

Oh, and Brian Van Holt is in it.

Brian Van Holt is my current Y-chromosomed celeb crush, and damn if he ain't purty.

He's plays a foul-mouthed, good-hearted, recovering smack-addict, which some seriously fucked up shit in his past, and he acts the shit out of the part. (The only better actor on the show is Ed O'Neill. I swear to god, Al Bundy rocks house.) Plus he's cute as hell and he surfs...what more is there?

Oh right, my double X chromosomed celeb crush of the week. Well, this one is a little shocking.
