I saw my buddy's band tonight, Ledaswan. You know, that dude's on here somewhere. Good music. Damn good music. It makes me jealous. I haven't been in a happening band in about a year now. Oh, God... maybe more. It pisses me off to see bands play that sound good. I get REALLY encouraged to write more music, and then half-way through writing a song, I get discouraged and realize, what the fuck am I doing? I don't have a band! haha... ha... heh... hmmm. I want to put a band together that really rocks, but keeps an extreme personal element. San Antonio is just the wrong place for forming a good rock band. Heavy Metal capital of the world. It's just not my style. I've played metal... but after a while, all your licks sound like someone elses. Everyone has the added thirds and fifths that every metal guitarist in the world throws in there because it just sounds metal-ly. I just wanna rock. And I wanna rock my own way.
