What a great summer.
I could not imagine living anywhere else. I love being able to walk to beach and let the little one run havoc. She is so awesome. I do worry about her a lot though. In her I see so much of myself, and it scares me. She is the kinda girl who will approach anyone and everyone just to want to talk to them. I love her free spirit, and I cherish her unstained view of the world, but we know what's out there.
I try to talk to her and explain that she has to ask me before she talks to strangers because they could take her away from me and I would be so so sad, and her response is "but mommy.....I love strangers".
The struggles of a single mom, which by the way, I'm so proud to be.
This time of me not working has been such a positive thing for me and my daughter. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I know that money is tight, and I have to find a job before I can't put food on the table, but I'll cherish this time for the rest of my life.
Sometimes I struggle with the fact that I'm a single mom, with little help from her father. If there is one thing that I've learned from this is this;
People that have children, have them for a reason.
I know that reason.
All that I ask of you today is that you go up to someone that has kids and give them some words of encouragement. It's a hard job, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
By the way........who else 's Vanessa!

Ahhh, I would LOVE to come to the beach, and have no doubt, doll, I'll be looking you up, for sure. In fact, look for the tent out on the beach, I fear I'll never get further than the sand.
How is the roommate situation going? I read that earlier, and didn't get a chance to comment, and wanted to make sure you are doing okay. It's easy to take on someone else's problems, but it sounds like she needs some professional help. I hope she gets it. It's hard to remember, but the best we can offer is friendship. We can't save the world...You and I are very similar in that aspect...I assure you, if it hasn't already, it will get you down. You make sure to take care of you...
So, what are you headed into career wise? Any ideas? Any interests? Finding a job is the hardest job you'll ever have. Good luck!
Thank you for your sweet words, honey, they always mean so much.
Oh, I mean, hey girl.
Doing ok, just a lot of work and school. Glad to hear you are doing well. I'm soo jealous of being able to go out to the beach and Cabo's and all that. I haven't been down since you saw me last. I hate it. I really miss the beach.
Any promising leads on jobs?
