i really can't believe it.
6 years, 10 months, and 15 days.
another chapter of my life closed. what's next? i know i'm off to bigger and better things, what they are i'm still figuring out. i am completely calm about this. most military people get stuck in mentality that there is nothing else besides the military for them. i....however know i can do better.
there are a few things i'll miss. i'll miss some of the people. i'll miss the warm feeling of a m-16 under my arm. i'll miss giving 110% to be better than the boys. i'll miss camping in the woods, not showering for days. i'll most of all miss giving my part to society. as corny as it sounds, i'm truly proud of what i've done.

I'm military also, still in.
Navy, thirteen years now.
I like it, most of the time. Sometimes i hate it.
Where is Benton , PA?
I'm for all intens and purposes a W. PA guy. i'm actually from Wheeling Wva, but that basicaly a suburb of Pittsburgh. My mom lives in Pittsburgh now.
I too love This area. Spent most of my time in Va Beach , but I bought a house in Portsmouth last year. Closer to base.
Well..stay in touch...I'd like to be more active in this group, but it is so spread out it is very tough. Still hoping though.
