Well since its my birthday and I actually have some time off not I figure I would finally blog since I have been so neglect for the former weeks. Life has been getting gradually more active as the summer progresses. My friends from work have finally got on board and stared to play soccer on a regular basis and they in turn have started bringing friend that seem to kick out collective asses on the field. I also did the bike to work thing yesterday, although be it a little shorter version that Im used to (20 km compared to the 30 km one way) which I jumped at the chance to do, to the collective disbelief of a large amount my other coworkers. The ride itself is not that hard. It is the getting up at 4am to get prepared thats the hard part. If it wasnt for that one fact I would probably bike more often to work. Also I played paintball for the first time in something like 7 years. Forgot how much I missed getting shot in the back and running up and down a broken rocky incline just so I can not get pelted with paint that moves at something like 30 meters per second. This caused my legs to ache more than I have ever felt in a long time. I figured that my legs would be up to it because I bike and play soccer. I was very wrong. It felt like my leg would kind of bend both ways and I would have the most difficult time just bending down and trying to walk up and down stairs. Mental note, bike way more to build up my quads. There has been a bit more in my life now but I will have to put in in the version 2 of this post so until then have fun out there
