Alrighty, things are going to be crazy in Canada Saturday.
Me and Poe are crossing Lake ontario to Toronto on saturday. (second trip, leaving at 4 pm, arriving at like 6 pm(? i haven't done this trip yet)). I've got the tickets here for the boat trip, so it's GOING to happen.
We're hitting the club, "Savage Garden" for The Killing floor with DJ Pale. Savage Garden. Check out the link, it's going to be cool!
I'm going to go hit up some Journals of some SG's in the area. Maybe some will want to come down to meet Poe (Who'd want to meet me? LOL) and have some drinks and enjoy the night.
So, the question could be asked, How does an ugly ass nerd like me keep an unbelievably gorgeous and interesting woman like Poe entertained in a 'dive' like Rochester? (Ask our Canuck neighbors about rochester and 'dive' would be, being generous).
Here's a run down:
Day 1:
Pick up @ airport
Check in @ hotel
Shop for emergency little black dress.
See Army of kittens @ petshop.
Drive all over god's pavement of earth for a place to play Pool.
Stop at the HOG, (great house of guitars!), and have an almost religious experience watching her jam on an electric piano. OMg.
Find pool hall and play a few games. Poe kicks my ass like there's no tomorrow.
Take her back to hotel, go home myself.
Day 2:
Nodda till 5 pm.
Drive all over for Coffee. Why the hell is EVERYTHING freaking closed?
End up finding a great big coffee shop on East Ave.
Brought out Camera. Camera Huge hit with Poe.
I swear the camera is good. Don't actually get much chance to use it ON Poe, but that's ok. Oh ya, she stole my idea. from a few months ago:
See Gaelic Storm. Nearly die over price of food and stick to Chicken Wings. Chicken wings good, except not very spicy.
Realize i'm out with the most drop dead gorgeous woman in the whole room.
Wander up and down East ave, and realize that we have no idea where the industrial scene is. Damn it.
Yes, there is art on East Avenue.
Yes, each of those statues are $125.
Take her back to Hotel, she has headache, i go home.
Day 3:
Poe gets up early to hit the city public library which is only 1 block from her Hotel. Fuck heads gave her shit.
Showed up 1/2 an hour late. Lame me.
Headed to Zoo. My Camera was a big hit again. May have to buy her one. Rochester's zoo was ok. The biggest (in my opinion) part of it to see was the polar bears, but they were hiding from the heat.
Lets not talk about how much this wolf (and her sister) frustrated Poe:
Poe wishes she could have also. Popsickle saves SG from heat stroke.
As thanks for saving her from heat stroke, she tried AGAIN to take a picture of me that doesn't suck. But, i'm just unrecoverably ugly. See for yourself:

Takes Poe to another library and uses my ID to use computer. However, computer blocks out 'porn' sites, like SG.com. Lame. However, find what looks like a really kick ass club in Toronto!
Head to planatarium to see a show. However, all they've got playing is something called "Stomp" or something like it. Was not impressed (neither of us).
Get her Abott's frozen Custard. The best way to get fat in the whole, wide world. She wasn't impressed.
Hit the Lizard Store in Henrietta (by Millenium games and the Steel Source).
Take her back to "Pet Store" to log onto SG. We spam the whole world (seemingly) about heading to Toronto.
She gets tired and is taken back to Hotel.
Who says there's nothing to do in Rochester?
And how come she looks so miserable?
