I like the new set today! GERMANY's set is patriotic and has a good message. (warning, rant enclosed)
Register to vote and VOTE people! I don't know about all of you, but for me, voting is a small crusade. The United States' electoral system is based upon the will of the people to lead and be lead. Based on the last election, it's more of the latter than the former, and that's wrong. We're Americans, damn it. We're not some ignorant, third world populace to be ruled by the whims of a dictator!
Anyone know where i can find some final word on if bush was legally or illegally elected in florida?
ANYWAY, what's done is done. The last election was decided by a tiny number of people. Fewer people than lived in my home town of Peterborough, NH (which is little more than a bump on the road through NH). It was like just having the top corporate executives in the United States vote for president. A small and exclusive club.
For many of you who may be reading this, this'll be your first presidential election. Do not be a Putz and miss it. You'll be throwing away a right, privelege and responsibility that Americans have been dieing for, for literally hundreds of years.
1776 - 2004
228 years of American men and women fighting for representation, freedom of expression and a chance at a better life. All it takes to honor those men and women is to pay attention to the electoral candidates, figure out who will do the best job, go down to the polling booths, and pull the levers correct for you. It's cheaper (and safer) than fireworks. For us men in the country, we have been dieing a long time for it. For the women and minorities, your ancestors fought uphill battles for the RIGHT to vote.
Thank you for reading this rant.

On another note, Casino's these days are too loud. Give's ya a headache. While i don't gamble (I always lose, so why bother playing?), i have numerous friends and relatives who do and guess who's the DD? Yeah, that's me. So I've seen just about every casino from Connecticut to the new one in Niagara falls. That might not sound like a lot, but there's at least 5 in that distance, and probably will be 7 by the end of next year.
Further, i got into a fight with a friend of mine. She was so excited that she had gone to the bar the night before in her pj's. I was so torn on what to say. On the one hand, it's her choice and I can't fault her for wanting to be comfortable.
On the other hand, it frustrates me how rarely women seem to dress 'like women' these days. I know, i know, I'll probably be crucified for being a sexist. but, you know, in the work place, feminine clothing isn't terribly appropriate. That's a place of work. No, i'm talking about when going out to have fun.
I've heard many women ask why they're single and men don't ask them out more. Most of the time, they're friends, and i have difficulty telling them, "It's because you don't dress like WOMEN."
And don't get me wrong and think I want some beauty model who runs around in dresses all the time. LOL. good heavens no. I can't even talk to girls like that without stuttering for the first hour. No, i'm more thinking that a girl who realizes she's a woman and dresses like it on a regular basis. Call me crazy for wanting to be with a woman who OWNS a short skirt and (ok, this one is probably pushing it) a bikini. A woman who doesn't have to be bribed with special occasions and jewelry to dress up in a non-ultra-comfortable manner.
Sweats and blue jeans does not an entire ward-drobe make! If all of your clothes are 2 sizes too big, here's a hint, it's not the right size! Wearing makeup all of the time probably isn't good for your skin, but wearing it once a week isn't going to hurt anything!
So, the list stands that for my next term relationship, she has to dress like a woman once in a while (self confidence) and has to enjoy sex with me. Sex doesn't make a relationship, but it sure can break one.

ah well.
dogs are crazy, sometimes.
I have a friend who wears nothing but pants, she has amazing legs and would look awesome in a skirt but she says no. She rarely wears make up, and getting her to do her hair is almost as bad as trying to pry Valen away from the mirror in the mornings.
