Skye, my beloved fire staff of 4 years died on me mid toss this evening. I'm very sad over the whole thing. Even sadder is with the new fire conclave class starting next week, instead of mouring her loss for a while, i had to order another staff as soon as i came back inside. It made me feel so dirty, like she didn't mean anything to me, and our years together weren't important.

I have to go take a bath with a toaster now. Excuse me
