I've been sooooo busy with school. I'll have lots of time to waste on the internet this weekend though hehe. Last weekend I went to palm beach county to visit my grandpa. The doctor said that he only has one or two more months to live. When I visited him he was having a good day though and was talking a lot and such.
Since I was back home with my parents I had to go to church last sunday. I also forgot to pack my "pharmaceuticals" with me because I was in a rush so I had to go to service completly sober. At church there was a guest speaker who was a missionary. For the past 15 years he travled all over the Middle East to spread the wonderful message of Jesus Christ. His sermon was actually pretty interesting, until he got to the end.
He closed the sermon by saying "Last year over 200,000 people died in the tsunami that hit Asia. Less than one percent of those people were Christians. Unfortunately the rest of them are in hell now." At this point I was completly shocked and I looked around the church to see everyone else's reaction. Everyone was sadly shaking their heads as if if they were thinking "That's such a shame that all those people are in hell now."
He went on to say "Everyday 90,000 people die and go to hell. By the time I finish this sermon a thousand people will have gone to hell because they didn't believe in Jesus." You know because that's what the Middle East really needs right now, a white American telling all the Jews and Muslims to stop fighting and convert to Christianity or they'll go to hell.
On a lighter note, I met this one cute girl in my psychology research class . I invited her to an indie show going on this saturday and she said she would go to it for sure. So hopefully things go well with that tee hee.
