My birthday wasn't that great actually. First of all yesterday I never saw my one friend who lives right next door to me and I still haven't seen him all today.
Then my other good friend who was suppose to come to my party never showed up. I left literally over 20 messages on his cell phone. Then today after calling him 3 times he finally picks up his phone. He told me that he was feeling really depressed yesterday and didn't feel like going out at all, so he went over to his friend's (his female friend) house because he needed comforting. He said he tried to call me but his cell phone ran out of batteries.
He told me he was depressed because he broke up with his girlfriend of 2 years. This was one a month and half ago and he never told me untill yesterday. It bothers me that he told 2 of our other friends already even though I've known him the longest by far. I feel really bad for him, but he could have at least called me instead of ditching me for some girl so that he could be "comforted" by her. And i know that if i went through something as bad as breaking up he would be one of the first people I would tell. What a bunch of fucking sell outs.
Anyways last night my 3 friends and I took a ridiculious amount of shots before going out to a bar. It was nice to relax and have a drink as opposed to being paraniod all night that the security guard was going to catch me haha. Afterwards we went to Steak N Shake and that was not a pretty sight to say the least hehe. My one friend was so drunk he couldn't form a complete sentence if his life depended on it and I kept zoning out staring at the table completly motionless haha.
It's funny how I don't like drinking nearly as much as I used to. Smoking is the new drinking for me haha. I think it's a psychological thing and I like smoking more just because it's more taboo. Maybe i'm just going through a phase and I'll return back to my alcoholic ways in all my drunken glory one day haha. One day soon hopefully.
My one friend took me out to this ultra trendy sushi restraunt tonight and that was really nice. Sushi keeps getting better and better every time I have it hehe.
