I got a 151 on the LSAT which is in the 49 percentile. So in other words I scored right on the average. I was sort of disappointed at first since with that score I knew that I had a slim to none chance of getting into the UF law school.
But then today I had an appointment with my neurologist. About a month ago he prescribed me Cymbalta, an anti-depressant, because one of the positive side effects of it is that it sometimes helps with migraines. However whenever I took it I would have only 0-2 hours of sleep. I also mentioned to my neurologist that I had zero hours of sleep the night before my LSAT.
He then informed me that one of his other patients was in fact a prominent faculty member at the UF law school. He said that he would put in a good word for me. He went on to say, while giving me a wink, that yesterday he did a "huge favor" (I'm thinking he illegally prescribed him Oxycotin or something haha) for the faculty member and that he owed him one.
I don't know if anything will come out of it but my neurologist made it seem like they were close and that the guy was really important at the UF law school. I guess my neurologist felt guilty for prescribing me medicine that kept me awake the night before the LSAT.
But anyways, my neurologist is now prescribing me Ambien since I have insomnia problems and he thinks that my sleep deprivation is giving me my migraines. I'm sort of scared to take it because I hear that Ambien gives you really intense dreams and I already have crazy lucid/vivid dreams even while sober.
I can't wait for the SG Burlesque Show! It's going to be in Tallahassee on Halloween of all days. Did anyone see the CSI episode last week with the Suicide Girls? It was hot.
Ok, it's bed freak-out time for me now.
