CAPRICORN (Dec 22 - Jan 19): Today's Capricorn New Moon is yours, requiring you to leave something from your past behind you. Accept what you are feeling, even if it isn't consistent with your previous plans. But don't think that the solution is to just drop whatever you are doing in favor of something new. You must find a workable balance between the opposite forces now pushing and pulling on your life

Ok...so normally I don't put a WHOLE lot of stock in the astrological hoo ha...but sometimes this shit is just creepy.

STORIES...PART TWO
Second verse...same as the first...
Once upon a time there was a girl, who, in the past ten years hadn't been in a relationship that lasted past the admission of guilt...I mean feelings. Either, because she was 'relating' NSA or because once the words were uttered she'd suddenly find herself alone, with nothing but a dust trail leading off into the hills... Didn't seem to matter WHO made the admission, just so long as someone did.
Now...this girl, older now but not much wiser...finds herself having made the admission of guilt one more time. Not that she went first...oh HELL no...she made sure to wait him out, but admit, in full, she finally did. And despite her emotional maturity in so many other areas of life...finds herself curled up under her covers with a teddy bear, and this, her favorite morbid children's fairy tale...waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Not that she WANTS it to drop...oh, she hopes and prays that someday there will be a happy ending to this story...but still she waits for it. And the waiting makes her crazy. So crazy, in fact, that unbeknownst to even herself, she takes it upon herself to take any opportunity she can, to MAKE it drop. Just so she can go ahead and lock herself back in her pretty little tower of loneliness and despair, figuring at least it's comfortable there.
Problem is...the shoe hasn't dropped yet, despite her finest efforts...and she finds herself now MORE uncomfortable than usual. Why? Because the characters in this fairy tale aren't the same as they always are. And she finds that the 'bad guy' isn't the bad guy at all. In fact, it turns out, she herself is now in that role. By allowing old stories, and the prince's own depressive fairy tale, which sadly plays so well into her own...to influence the reality of the thing.
Now girls and boys, gather close because I'm going to tell you something important...
Taking down the dragon isn't easy. Especially when you don't even know there IS one until he's breathing down your neck. Especially when the dragon turns out to be YOU. But there's a reason why all these stories start with 'once upon a time.' It's because it's based on something that happened in the past, sometimes from so long ago you don't even remember it. But the truth is, it's just a story...and if you want to hear a new one, you have to write it yourself. In order to do that...you need to just do one thing...GET THE FUCK OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!
And maybe, just maybe...we can get the chance to live happily ever after...
