The ranger story from last week:
I drove to where my chassis is being built to get the plates off the Mercedes so I could just transfer the registration to the new Scion. After I got back home, I realized I needed the registration for the Mercedes as well.
So I hopped back on the highway to head back to the benz, and I heard something clunking around in the engine compartment. It sounded like a usual piece of shit picked up from the road and tossed around inside the engine compartment, but something big and black fell out from underneath.
Then she started running shitty.
When I got off the highway, she stalled. She stalled six more times before I finally made it back home into my parking lot. As it was being backed up, it back-fired through the intake and finally sputtered to its death.
I'm pretty sure the timing's fucked. Something related to the timing must have gotten loose and just fell off. Probably a sensor or something, I dunno..
Anyway, the new car is sick! Pictures once the pouring rain subsides!
