It's a funny thing, this country.

So many people don't really know what it's like to stand up and take a true hit for an unpopular stance. Rather they form communities in which their views are safe. Like here.

What is tough is when you are doing in a place where it isn't safe; where the consequence can be real; where you don't know if it will be ok, in the short or long run.

I'm worn out.

I've been taking too many hits in my life. For too many years.
