Life in the slow lane
I'm looking around and seeing what the site is like.
I'm not sure what to think yet. I suppose it depends on the nature of the interaction.
I've been writing quite a bit lately, and the economy hasn't been good (one of the subjects on which I write). I wonder what others think. Generally, when I was young and in school, I was pretty much oblivious to the changes in the economy except to the extent it dominated the news. (A news junkie.) But now I see and understand the real effects more.
A friend got a job offer recently, to teach. I'm glad for him and relieved. He was teaching but in a position that didn't pay well.
