So may someone can help me and tell what the difference is between hopefuls and sg and what a hopeful has to do to become a sg. I think that are all beautiful women and should be admired for their beauty.

After 7hrs. I'll tell you. The new girls, hopefuls have to prove themselves. Once the Suicide Girls think they have proved themselves. They track these hopefuls down and spray paint them pink. Its a Suicide Girl tradition.

@weedfarmer is 100% correct. But also, when we sign up for the site we are Hopefuls, we submit sets and when/if one is purchased by the site the girl is then a full SuicideGirl. If you look at the site you will see that Hopefuls comments are a purpleish colour and the SuicideGirls show as a pink colour, therefore the term "went pink" or "turned pink" etc is from that change from purple to pink
