randomness abounds.
end up totally sick yesterday with some thing that another guy at work apparently is spreading around. no big deal...i needed to take a couple days off to not be at work.
get a phone call from a number i don't know. because i don't answer numbers i don't know. i check the corresponding voice mail. it's from a girl i'm not sure that i know, a jess (i know 20 or so of these but whatever) askng if i have a little 'blaze' and then rattled on for a few minutes. i kept hte message. googled that phone number, apparently it's jessica peters. which helped about as much as someone spitting in my drink.
we have a two hour blackout right after i get out of work (i had to go in for an hour and a half before someone would come in for me) which meant that i couldn't sleep during the time that i was home from work. but here's the thing, this blackout was huge. it went the five blocks from main street to lake/crain and then extended down those east all the way to 261, which is like 3 or 4 miles. so we're talking a massive amount of people without electiricity. and there wasn't a storm, even though there was supposed to be and there wasn't an accident anybody who was driving around saw.
i don't know if this all was blog worthy, but i'm really trying to blog more. you know, maybe even have sg-friends and all - not that i'm desperate for them...but i've been a member for a while and not much to show for it except fantastic forearms.
