ive crawled to my computer this morning. i didnt want to awake but the sun blares in my eyes through this little crack in my window curtain.
i live in "paradise" yet it all feels mundane. what a contridiction.
I djed a wedding parday lastnight my friends. I got to spin all my early 80s new wave records. the cure, smiths,echo and the bunnymen, depeche mode etc..........
it seems i have completly embraced my past lately. i walk around feeling emotions i felt in my teenage years.I miss it. its a feeling i cant describe.
close your eyes and listen to How Soon Is Now by the Smiths.maybe you will get a glimpse into my soul.
Im counting the days till i go to sacramento. Im glad to get off the island and tattoo at a different tattoo studio.I will be there for a week..

Funny you say that. I feel the same way. It's like I spent the last 10 years growning farther away from myself. Emotions, thoughts, things I have dealt with in years keep coming back. Experiences that I have now, things I act out on, I wonder why the hell didn't I do this when I was younger. So many things left undone and untouched. Maybe that is what aging is really about? They say the older you get the more the real you comes out. It's all in pieces and I just have to beleive one day that we will get all the pieces together.
