Today Im going to the "blue room"
Its a bottomless lava tube made by lava.
its the trippiest place ever.
basicaly you hike up this trail a few hundred feet through really lush rainforest and then desend a few hundred feet into this gigantic cavern.
Its really slippery so you will bust your arse.
Its crystal clear, very cold fresh water and you can see really really far into it.
So you can swim to the back of this place, into these little openings that disapear into blackness.
When you get into them the light that enters the cavern shines from underneath you making the water turn into the brightest most glowing tourquise color I have ever seen.
You can swim in a digeridoo and the sound will level you!!
Jaque Coustue the famous explorer sailor guy tried to find the bottom in the 70s and had a "mystical experience" in trying to do so and never ever talked about it. I'm sure he almost lost his life.
They say it goes to the core of the earth. no one knows.
