Well dearest SG-land, It's official. I'm leaving my adopted Southern home for a west coast adventure. In two weeks I will be a resident of that city of SG's humble beginnings, Portland.
It's that once yearly chore of updating the ol' SG blog. I'm now a year out of college and contemplating moving out of my beloved South. I'll probably end up in either Olympia, WA or Santa Fe, NM.
well first of all yes there is a subway in la which i too was not aware of haha. and NO it does NOT compare to the T. and second of all. Santa fe is a cool place. Its very artsy and different but let me warn you if you are going to go for the first time i would definitely stick with staying in the heart of santa fe because once you drift away from there youll be some what stranded. Why dont you try out boston? its amazing!
Whacked out. graduation is 4 months and 4 days away. I dunno what I'm going to do with my liberal arts degree, or where I'm gonna live with it. The only sure thing is that I'm in no way moving back home. That would be sad beyond all belief. yikes. here's to a brief, yet fun last semester at college.
yup. sure is my 4th year of college. sure do dislike my dorm full of freshies, i guess that's what you get for living in the substance-free dorm that very few upperclassmen like to inhabit.
with luck, i'll be able to make it through the rest of the semester without killing some of these kids.
There used to be a group of locals that got together at Broadways, had drinks and shot pool... I just returned from Africa, and decided for a reunion tour before Miah Left the site...
There are a lot more People near Asheville than there were when I left...
Ahh, college. back for my sophomore year. it's a fun ride - though WNC (western north carolina for the unitiated) is not exactly what you could call a cultural mecca. eh, what can you do about it, y'know?
