Is it just me being sensitive or are people pretty much useless?
I'm chatting on another site when a noob comes in (one who lives in my town!) .. I say hi and try and be nice to him ... and he's an asshole to me. Now, this is a personals chat, so he managed to pretty much blow his chances in under two minutes .. not that I care. Wait until he realizes *I* organize the local get togethers.
It seems that a computer between you and the world allows some people to act even worse than they do in real life.

People in cars are the same way - they feel anonymous and unaccountable. People think they can pick their nose and no one will see them, they think they can be assholes and it doesn't matter. I was on the back of a motorcycle and we were merging into traffic when this guy cut us off, almost knocking my friend's bike over. So the guy I'm riding with kicks the guy's mirror. You shoulda seen the guys face! Suddenly it wasn't so impersonal!
